Pair of 1970s Ward Bennett Club Chairs in Two-Toned Duralee Fabric

These two elegantly simple club chairs were designed by Ward Bennett in the 1970s. They are newly reupholstered in a two-tone Duralee fabric. The cushions are upholstered in a pale beige, while the sides and lower segments are covered in a light peach color. The square frame of each chair rests securely on ebonized oak plinths. Bennett's design tempers the hard-edged lines of Modernism with curved edges and rounded corners. Coupled with a subdued palette, these soft features accentuate the chairs' comfortability.
