Art Deco Octagonal Gilt Metal & Onyx Marble Coffee Table Attributed to Oscar Bach

This Art Deco coffee table was crafted in the 1920s and is attributed to Oscar Bach, who worked deftly, producing beautiful furniture, with metal. This table is comprised of a 7/8 inch-thick onyx marble top, shaped into an octagon. The onyx has a rich palette of beige and rust-red veins. The frame is comprised of bronze and iron which has been expertly fashioned into an openwork lower tier, while the legs are spindle forms bracketed by floral, curlicue grillwork.

The table is in very good condition. It has wear that is consistent with age and use. The marble top has a minor chipped edge, but is overall in excellent shape.
