"It embraces you. It's hardwood but it's soft to the touch, with no sharp edges," Jay Spectre once described one of his pieces in the Chicago Tribune. And that description very much captures the soft but sturdy design of this sideboard dresser, manufactured by Century. Crafted from cerused oak, it has a moody blue-gray tint that brings out the natural woodgrain, with its dynamic patterns. Spectre's attention to detail can be seen in his use of brushed chrome, which beautifully complement the hardwood. The top is composed of two slabs separated by chrome trimming, which is repeated in the base. Three central drawers with chrome pulls and six flanking shelves provide ample storage.
