19th Century Biedermeier Sycamore Pedestal Cabinet

This Biedermeier pedestal cabinet was created, circa 1820s-1850s. It has elements of neoclassical designs. The cabinet is crafted from sycamore, which has beautifully aged, with ebonized details and brass ring pulls. It is comprised of two pieces, one resting on top of the other. The upper part consists of a top, narrow drawer and a cabinet that opens to a series of shelves. The lower cabinet opens to smaller compartments and shelves.
